Made in a school, for schools
Amber began in 2015 at Jantar – IH Split, a family language school in Split, Croatia, that needed software which understood how a school really works. Every school that has joined since has helped it grow.
Why we build Amber
Most school software is made by people who have never run a school. Ours is used every day by people who do: the office in the September enrollment rush, teachers filling in the register, the accountant matching bank transfers, parents checking homework. When something is slow or confusing, we hear about it the same day.
The new Amber
In 2026 we rebuilt Amber’s entire interface. It’s faster, it’s made for phones, and it brings a portal for students and parents, online enrollment with card payment and e-signatures, Croatian Fiscalization 2.0, and AI that does real work. Schools move to the new Amber at the turn of the year 2026/27.
Who we are
Amber is made by Amber IT Solutions d.o.o., Poljička cesta 26A, 21000 Split, Croatia. We also make NGPT, the online placement test that connects to Amber.
