# Amber School Manager

Amber School Manager ("Amber", "Amber SM") is web-based school management software made by Amber IT Solutions d.o.o., Poljička cesta 26A, 21000 Split, Croatia (finances@amber-it.co). It started in 2015 at Jantar – IH Split, a language school, and is used by private language schools and, in Croatia, adult education institutions (učilišta) and training centres. In 2026 it was rebuilt with a new interface, a student and parent portal, online enrollment with card payment and e-signatures, Croatian Fiscalization 2.0 and AI that does real work (plan → confirm → create → undo). Business rules exist for 16 countries. Plans are priced by school size (student hours taught per school year): Core from €190 and Complete from €450 a month, paid yearly, without VAT, with no charge per user; see the pricing page.

- **What is Amber School Manager?** Web-based software that runs a language school or adult education institution from start to finish. - **Who is Amber for?** Private language schools first and foremost. In Croatia it also serves adult education institutions (učilišta), training centres and exam centres. One school can run several companies, locations and websites in it.
- **Which countries does Amber support?** Amber has business rules for 16 countries, among them Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Italy, Spain, Poland, Ukraine and several in Latin America. Its legal support goes deepest for Croatia.
- **Do we need to install anything?** No. Amber runs in the browser, and on a phone you can add it to the home screen without going through an app store.
- **What languages is Amber available in?** The new Amber’s screens are in English. Your documents, contracts and messages are in your own language, and for schools in the region the document-signing pages come in Croatian and English.
- **Can people enroll and pay on our own website?** Yes. You publish groups on your website, and people apply, pay by card through your own Stripe account and sign the contract online. See online enrollment.
- **Does Amber hold our money?** No. Card payments go straight to your school’s own Stripe account.
- **Can a parent with several children use one login?** Yes. Parents see all their children and can switch between them.
- **Do you support online placement tests?** Yes, through NGPT. Send a test from the applicant’s record, and the level, score and result PDF come back to Amber automatically.
- **Does Amber import bank statements?** Yes, in camt.053, HUB3, MT940 and CSV. Amber records the payments it is sure about automatically and suggests matches for the rest.
- **Can we offer payment in instalments?** Yes. Set up payment plans with a down payment, print a payment slip for each instalment, and have the plan printed on the contract.
- **Can we use our own contract and certificate layouts?** Yes. Upload your PDF to the Form Builder, place the data on it, and your documents look exactly as they do today.
- **Is Amber ready for Croatian fiscalization?** Yes. Every invoice is fiscalized, bank transfers included, eRačuni go out through ePoslovanje, and HUB3 and HUB-3A are supported. Read the details.

- **Does the AI see our student data?** Only what a task needs. Ask Amber sees none of it, and lesson-plan AI never sees students. The import sees column names and three rows, and report analysis gets numbers only.
